Build portfolio projects beyond assignments and find collaborators for ambitious ideas.
Build portfolio projects beyond assignments and find collaborators for ambitious ideas.
Share questions, prototypes and papers in a format builders can actually engage with.
Turn theory into hardware, software, simulations and experiments people can test.
Make difficult technology understandable, usable and worth caring about.
We keep this showcase deliberately small. A project needs a real hardware prototype, meaningful human-computer interaction (HCI), or both. We would rather have one documented build than ten invented examples.
Send a few clear photos or a demo, explain what you made and what part you personally worked on. If it fits the showcase, we will document it properly.
Share your build with the Gen-Smart community. Showcase submissions must include a hardware build, a human-computer interaction (HCI) component, or both — software-only ideas are not featured in the project showcase.
Submit your project →Tell us who you are and what kind of technology you keep coming back to.
Start with the smallest version that can prove something. A rough working demo is enough.
Show screenshots, code, CAD, wiring, failures and the little decisions that made the project yours.
Say what you need help with. Nobody is expected to know every part of a serious build.
Bring a project, an experiment, a research question or just enough curiosity to start one.
Project submissions must demonstrate a hardware build, human-computer interaction (HCI), or both. Include clear prototype photos or a demo video, plus a short explanation; GitHub or portfolio links are welcome.
