Privacy

Gen-Smart is built around responsible technology. This page explains the basic data practices of the current community website.

Information you choose to share

If you contact Gen-Smart by email, submit an idea, or propose a collaboration, you may provide your name, email address, project information or other details voluntarily.

Ideas Lab

The current Ideas Lab prototype stores submitted ideas locally in your browser and can open your email application so you can send the idea to Gen-Smart. The website does not claim to operate a production database for these submissions.

External platforms

Links to Discord, LinkedIn, research journals and other external services are governed by those services' own privacy policies.

Research & neural data

Gen-Smart research concepts involving neural or biometric signals should follow explicit consent, data minimization, transparent uncertainty and privacy-by-design principles. Concept pages do not imply that Gen-Smart currently collects neural data.
