Neurotechnology
Interfaces that explore how neural signals and human intent could communicate with digital systems.
Science-fiction ideas. Real-world possibilities. We explore original gadgets that help people live, move, sense and communicate more freely.
A lot of Gen-Smart starts with the kind of question you would normally hear after a movie: "Could this actually exist?" We use that curiosity as a starting point, then work backward into research, engineering and prototypes.
The long-term goal is to turn the strongest ideas into original Gen-Smart gadgets. Right now, this website shows the work before that point: research concepts, early experiments and real member builds. If something is only an idea, we say so.
Interfaces that explore how neural signals and human intent could communicate with digital systems.
Context-aware intelligence designed to assist, adapt and eventually collaborate more naturally with people.
Physical intelligent systems that connect software, sensing, control and interaction in the real world.
These are R&D directions, not products for sale. Some may become prototypes. Some may fail. That is part of the point.
A long-horizon robotics vision investigating coordinated miniature systems and intuitive forms of control.
Exploring future interfaces around neural signals, memory-related computing and human-computer interaction.
A human-centered AI and robotics concept focused on calm assistance, ambient intelligence and helpful interaction.
Alongside the company, we are growing a builder community for people who like making things, testing ideas and sharing what they learned — including the parts that did not work.
Turn something you learned, noticed or wondered about into a small working prototype.
Document what you tried, what failed, what worked and what others can learn from it.
Find people from different disciplines who can fill the gaps in your project.
Build a body of work that shows how you think, test and solve problems.
We would rather show one genuine project than fill the page with made-up examples. If you have a hardware or HCI build, send us the prototype and the story behind it.
We only feature projects when there is something real to show. For the community project wall, that means a hardware build, meaningful HCI, or both — with photos, a demo or enough technical detail to understand what was made.
Submit an idea →You do not need a polished pitch. If there is a device, robot, wearable or odd little tool you keep wishing existed, tell us. We are interested in the problem first, then the technology.
No ideas saved in this browser yet. Be the first.
We would rather our devices be quietly useful than loudly futuristic. If a thing is brilliant but awkward to live with, we are not yet done.
The community is for students, researchers, engineers, designers and makers who are genuinely curious about future gadgets and willing to share work in progress.
Say hello, show what you are working on, or tell us what kind of technology you want to explore.
